Today we ride by a series of quiet local roads on a pleasant trip where we’ll enjoy the beautiful landscape of Southern Sierra de Guara.
Riding between olive and almond fields under the attentive look of Tozal de Guara (2.077 m), we will reach the small town of Sabayés, located on the foothills of majestic Salto de Roldán, one of the most characteristic landscapes of Sierra de Guara. There you can visit Espacio Salto de Roldán to learn about the surrounding landscape.
We’ll pass by farming villages like Aguas and Apiés, and we will be able to enjoy the delicacies of Loporzano’s bakery as well as having a bath in Guatizalema River, near Sipán. This will be the last stage on peaceful Southern Sierra de Guara. Tomorrow, we will head north entering in a wild and hostile territory. Are you ready?
