To mark the promotional campaign being run by Turismo de Aragón from 8 to 15 October at the Espacio Aragón in the Pasaje Palafox in Zaragoza, BGuara Cycling Rocks will be presented, a major mountain and road cycling route covering the entire Sierra de Guara area, promoted by the Sierra de Guara Business Association and financially supported by the Aragonese Institute of Development.

The event will take place on the 13th at 7.00 pm at Espacio Aragón and will be presented by Francisco Lacau and Santiago Mur, both representatives of the association.

What is BGuara Cycling Rocks

BGuara was launched in mid-September with a network of 29 routes designed for all levels and styles.

Cycling routes in the Sierra de Guara

The offer includes 14 enduro routes for the more adventurous, 8 rally routes along tracks that take you to the most stunning natural and heritage sites, 8 family routes for everyone to enjoy together, an XC circuit, a major challenge circling the Tozal de Guara, and 3 road cycling routes crossing the most unique landscapes in the entire Sierra.

There are several key features to highlight about this new adventure space. One is the area where it is located, the Sierra y los Cañones de Guara Natural Park, the largest protected natural area in Aragon. The local weather allows for cycling in any discipline all year round.

Services for cyclists in BGuara

Another feature is the network of tourist services. From all types of accommodation, restaurants, and adventure companies providing guiding services, to taxis, tourist transfers, and complementary offerings such as wineries.

The Association of Business Owners in the Sierra de Guara is making available to to cyclists a database of information of high quality and of services tailored to the needs of the cyclists.

Information, tracks, and resources for route planning

Users can download all the route information from the website bguara.com: maps, GPS tracks and Google Earth files, elevation profiles, images and details of the network of tourist services associated with each route.

Following the official launch of BGuara, which took place at the Unibike Fair in Madrid on 23 September, a social media campaign has been launched, with profiles now active on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube. In the coming days, articles will be published in the specialist press, and promotional and exhibition materials have been produced to enhance the brand’s image.
