A comprehensive and spectacular tour of the area around the River Vero.
Despite the limited number of trails, this is a classic enduro route in the area thanks to the extraordinary descent from Mesón de Sevil to the Villacantal bridge, combined with a natural and cultural heritage of the highest order: Romanesque bridges, the Vero Gorge, the town of Alquézar and the prehistoric art of the Chimiachas rock shelters, Quizans and Regacens, all within easy reach of the route. The climb from the Fuendebaños bridge up to Alquézar and then on to Mesón de Sevil along dirt tracks is tough, but the stunning views make it all worthwhile. The trails, which are very rocky but cycleable, hold surprises at every turn.
Mind you, whether you start in Asque or Alquézar, the route ends… with a steep climb!
