Biello Sobrarbe

This comprehensive route combines two excellent loops that can be completed separately, starting from Barbastro or from Aínsa / Boltaña. Each of the loops forms a classic circular route in the area: the route from Barbastro to Abizanda and Bárcabo is 105 km long with an elevation gain of 1,600 m, whilst the loop from Aínsa to Las Bellostas and Arcusa is only 59 km long but has an elevation gain of 990 m. Combined, these two sections make for a very demanding day’s ride due to the significant total elevation gain, suitable only for cyclists in good physical condition. If split into two stages, it becomes an attractive and comfortable mid-mountain route offering stunning scenery and a mountainous terrain, with the passes of El Pino, Arcusa, Serrablo and San Caprasio being particular highlights.
