The Sommos winery is the most exclusive and contemporary of the Denomination of Origin Protected Somontano. Sommos produces a range of elegant, authentic wines that perfectly reflect the different grape varieties grown in the Somontano and how they adapt to the various soils and microclimates found in this small wine-growing region.
The winery boasts a spectacular building, which is inspired by the silhouette of the Pyrenean peak Cotiella. She was selected by The Drinks Business as the second winery to feature in the “Top 10 architectural wonders of the wine world”, not only for its beauty, but also for its functionality in the production of fine wines. The entire production process relies on the force of gravity, which makes use of the 30-metre depth to which the cellar has been excavated. In it, we will find the latest technological innovations that contribute to enabling the winegrowers and winemakers to develop their expertise with great precision. In this way, Sommos is able to ensure that it faithfully expresses the very best of each of the vineyards it cultivates, resulting in contemporary, authentic and unrivalled wines.
