The second stage follows quiet country roads, allowing us to enjoy the scenery on a pleasant ride
along the southern slope of the Sierra de Guara. Cycling amongst olive and almond trees, always under the watchful gaze of Mount Tozal
From Guara (2,077 m), we will reach the small village of Sabayés, at the foot of the majestic Salto de Roldán, one of
the most characteristic landscapes of the Sierra de Guara.
There, you can visit the Salto de Roldán Visitor Centre to find out more about the surrounding landscape. Along the way, we’ll pass through farming villages such as Aguas and Apiés, and we’ll be able to enjoy little treats such as the popular bakery in Loporzano or a dip in the River Guatizalema, near Sipán.
This will be the final stage through the gentle southern slopes ofthe Sierra de Guara. Tomorrow we’ll head north and venture into a wild and inhospitable landscape. ¿Ready?
