Description

A spectacular enduro route consisting almost entirely of trails, allowing you to cycle through the stunning Mascún ravine.

The route starts in Rodellar and descends to the Mascún riverbed before climbing up the Andrebot ravine, involving a fair bit of carrying the bike (30 mins). From there, take the track towards the Losa Mora dolmen, then a path that climbs up to Nasarre and descends to the pretty village of Bara, beside the River Alcanadre. From Bara, the route continues uphill along beautiful paths to the abandoned village of Miz and the Collada del Aire pass, where you take another long path leading to Otín; from there, it climbs to a pass overlooking the Mascún ravine. The incredible panoramic views will accompany us on the rocky descent to the river, from where we’ll simply have to make our way back up to Rodellar.

WARNINGS

A route that involves a 30-minute carry from the Mascún riverbed to the head of the Andrebot ravine.
There are few places to get water along the route, so it is advisable to set off with plenty of supplies.
Pay close attention to the GPS on the stretch between Collado del Aire (past Miz) and Otín, as there are many junctions that can be confusing.
A route with poor mobile phone coverage and very difficult access in the event of an accident or if you become unwell.
