Description

A pure enduro route set in a stunning, secluded natural landscape.

Huge slabs of bedrock offering excellent grip, forests of oak and pine, pools of crystal-clear water and abandoned villages. This route brings together the very best that an enduro trail has to offer, with 16.3 km of uninterrupted trails of all kinds: plenty of challenging climbs that you’ll have to battle your way up, exhilarating descents, tight bends, rock steps and winding paths through rugged, inaccessible terrain where it’s important not to take unnecessary risks. The route can be started from Matidero if you are coming from Boltaña or from Bara if you are comes from Huesca or Sabiñánigo.

A festival of trails in the wildest and most unknown part of Guara.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The main route starts in Bara and turns off at Alastrué towards Bibán, covering a distance of 16.2 km. If you head from Alastrué towards Matidero, the route becomes considerably longer (23 km) and more demanding both physically and technically, but you’ll be treated to some unique scenery that’s well worth seeing.

WARNINGS

A challenging route, although the distance and elevation gain aren’t great.
Make sure you take plenty of water with you, as there are no drinking fountains along the way.
This is rugged, hard-to-reach terrain, so it’s important not to take unnecessary risks and to allow plenty of time.
Good physical fitness and good technique on trails and rocky terrain are essential.
