The Valle de la Gloria is situated in the heart of the Huesca foothills, at the foot of the Sierra de Guara.
It takes its name from the Cistercian monastery of Our Lady of Glory, founded in 1173. The route starts in Labata and passes through the main villages in the valley, including five chapels, the most notable of which is San Miguel de Foces. It is a circular route with little technical difficulty and minimal elevation gain, but it is quite long, so it requires a minimum level of fitness. However, it can be shortened by skipping some of the loops along the route. The route follows the same path as the Valle de la Gloria Cycle Tour, which has been held since 2012 and attracts a large number of participants.
Highly recommended if you enjoy cycling on relatively flat terrain.
