This route allows you to explore the foothills of the Sierra de Guara and the eastern part of the Hoya de Huesca, via secondary roads with little traffic in a landscape of almond trees and olive trees.
From Panzano, the route climbs up to Aguas and joins the A-1228, which descends gently towards Labata and Casbas de Huesca, where you can visit the monastery —check opening times—. The route continues to Angües, passing through Junzano, where it crosses the N-240, and continues over the A-22 towards Bespén, a wine-growing region.
At kilometre 30, a turn-off to the right leads to Blecua, from where we’ll take the A-1222 on a gradual climb towards Torres de Montes and then descend to Liesa, enjoying fantastic views of the Sierra de Guara all the way. Here begins a challenging climb along the HU-V-3311, which will take us to Ibieca and Aguas, from where we will continue
along the same route as before, all the way to Panzano.
